HPC Calendar of Events Spring / Summer 2004 Weekly Events Mt. Bike Fridays beginning May 7th. Informal group MTB ride explores local trails. Meet at HPC at 6:00PM. Mondays from June 21st until Sept. 6th. Discover Mt. Biking 10AM-12PM.at the HPC MTB Center at the Verizon Sports Complex.$40 includes rental, lesson and trail pass. Saturdays starting June 19th.- MTB Group Lessons for kids 11:00-12:00 at the HPC MTB Center at Verizon Sports Complex. Free with trail pass purchase. Road Bike Thursdays starting May 6th 2004 HPC Road Bike Training Races 6:00 pm at HPC. ROAR, NORBA or USCF membership required. Rides continue until lack of daylight interferes. Meet ready to ride at HPC. Triathlon Saturdays from April 24th until July 17th. Ironman Bike Course Group Rides 9:00 at HPC. Informal-56 mile preview of the Ironman USA bike course. Park and ride from HPC. We have a shower and changing area for your before and after ride needs. Course maps available in the store. Check out our 22nd Annual Monday night Mini-Tri series starting June 21st. Hiking Tuesdays from June 1st until August 31st. 1/2 day adventures from 8AM-12PM and also from 2PM-6PM. A minimum of four participants total and advance registration is required. Price is only $40 each. Rock Climbing Friday May 7th, 14th and 21st. Kids after School Climbing Class-$20 includes gear and transportation to the site. Dress to climb for the days weather. Bring backpack, snack, drink and sturdy hiking shoes. Technical gear provided. Ages 8 and up. Advance registration is required. Space is limited. Climbing gym will be used in event of rain. Drop off / pick up at HPC. Wednesdays and Fridays from June 2nd until Sept.3rd. 1/2 day adventures from 8AM-12PM and also from 2PM-6PM. A minimum of four participants total and advance registration is required. Price is only $40 each. Includes technical gear and transportation to and from the site. Don't get rained out, our indoor climbing gym is now open every day. Wilderness Canoeing / Sea Kayaking Thursdays from June 3rd until Sept. 2nd. 1/2 day adventures from 8AM-12PM and also from 2PM-6PM. A minimum of four participants total and advance registration is required. Price is only $40 each. Includes boats, PFD's, paddles and transportation to and from the site. Everyday Our High Peaks Mountain Adventure Center staff is available to take you, your family and friends on a Rock Climbing, Hiking, Wilderness Canoe or Sea Kayaking adventure. Let our experienced guides give you a custom made outing you'll be sure to remember. Call or stop in to make personal arrangements.
