The Sci-Tech Center is a museum in downtown Watertown, NY with over 40 interactive hands-on science exhibits. The museum is also a Center for workshops, tours and classes. |
Workshops are offered periodically at the Center
and change every week. Check the Watertown Daily Times for workshops
being offered, or call The Sci-Tech Center at 315-788-1340.
Tours can be provided for groups visiting the Center. Trained volunteer tour guides explain the scientific principles demonstrated by the interactive exhibits located in the museum. Call the Center at 315-788-1340 to book a tour. Note: tours must be booked at least two weeks in advance. Classes for grades K-6 match the New York State Elementary Science Framework and were designed with Silver-Burdett Science Curriculum in mind. The Center distinguishes itself with instructors who have business, educational and parenting backgrounds. To register for a class, call the Center at 315-788-1340 at least 2 weeks in advance. Most classes start as low as $20.00. Note: classes can be tailored to your curriculum needs. |
