OFE and O4FE

Opera Software image link
Opera File Explorer and Opera 4 File Explorer are tools which allow users of the Opera web browser (3.62 and earlier with OFE,   4.0 and later with O4FE) to view and maintain Opera's Cache, Cookies, Global History, and Visited Links.

Both are 16-bit Windows programs designed to be used with 16 and 32 bit versions of Windows.

Here's an OFE screenshot:

Local O4FE Download (Japanese version) (o4f101jp.zip, 89 Kbytes, http) Internal strings and documentation translated by Yoshihiko Kashiwase. You also need the UTF-8 to Japanese translation file below.

O4FE 1.01 can translate UTF-8 codes in page titles and URLs to code page specific characters for the language chosen on the font dialog. Translation tables for single byte character sets are internal. These additional translation tables for double byte character sets are useful on versions of Windows which support the indicated language:

OpWiC

OpWiC (for Opera 5.12 and earlier)

OpWiC is a program which provides additional control of windows opened by the Opera browser. It is based on Hugh Allen's marvelous OperaMax program, but in addition to the pseudo-maximized mode of OperaMax, windows can be any desired size including fully maximized. Options are available to control the Transfer Window or (floating) Hotlist separately from other windows. And there can be a clickable list of all open windows for quick switching.

OpWiC is a 16 bit Windows program intended for use on either 16 or 32 bit Windows systems. It is usable with Opera 5.12 and earlier versions, OpWiC6 (below) is the version for Opera 6 and later.

The OpWiC display is normally just a titlebar, or it can be resized to also show the window list if that's enabled. I won't waste time and bandwidth on a screenshot.

Current Version: 1.07 (21 April 2001)

OpWiTray

OpWiTray is a small 32 bit companion program which puts an OpWiC icon in the system tray of Windows 9x. (As a 16 bit program, OpWiC can't directly use the system tray.) From the icon you can launch or close OpWiC, hide or show it, and toggle the 'pause' state.

OpConfig

OpConfig is Phil Burns' 32 bit program for creating or modifying the configuration file used by OpWiC or OpWiC6. See his OpConfig page for information and downloads.

METclk

METclk is a digital count down/up clock I use for counting down to a NASA Shuttle mission launch, then displaying Mission Elapsed Time during the mission. It's also suitable for other similar timing uses.

This is a 32-bit Windows 9x program.
The main display is minimal, but there's full choice of colors and font:

You control METclk's list of events with the Events dialog:
