A Taste of the great Outdoors for the Whole Family
These popular programs are designed to let you get a introduction to the adventures that the Adirondack Wilderness offers. Let our certified and experienced guides take you and your family for a memorable outing. When you're ready, we offer full courses at all levels of instruction. All Mini-Adventures require a minimum of 4 participants and reservations must be made at least one day in advance. Except where noted, all Half Day Adventures will proceed regardless of the weather, so be prepared. Summer Adventures are available May 31st through Labor Day-Sept 6th, 2004
Mountain Biking Mondays 10 am -12pm At the High Peaks Mt. Bike Center at the Verizon Sports Complex - Mt. Van Hoevenberg. Wilderness Canoeing / Sea Kayaking Thursdays 8am-12pm and 2pm-6pm. Meet at High Peaks Cyclery. Includes Watercraft, type III PFD, instruction and complimentary water bottle. $ 40/ person. Rock Climbing Wednesdays and Fridays 8am-12pm and 2pm-6pm. Meet at High Peaks Cyclery. Includes transportation, instruction, use of climbing harness and shoes, complimentary water bottle and a snack for energy. $40/ person.
