Typically serve one weekend each month and two weeks each year. Salary increases with promotions and years served. Cash Bonuses are available up to $8,000.
Education Programs
The Montgomery GI Bill pays up to $263 per month for 36 months towards your college degree for a total tax free benefit of $9,468! Add another $7,200 from the GI Bill Kicker if you qualify. Ask About other tuition assistance and education services programs that are also available.
Training
Choose from a variety of job skills while you earn a paycheck every step of the way. The length of your training varies depending on the job you select. Also the ROTC Simultaneous Membership Program is an Officer Commissioning Program that allows dual membership in ROTC and the New York Army National Guard. An excellent way to become a Second Lieutenant while concurrently serving in the Guard.
