Configuring Netscape Mail for WIN 3.1 and Above
IMPORTANT: Before you can send or receive mail, you MUST configure Netscape Navigator for your own email account. At the Netscape main menu, click on Options, then Mail and News Preferences... Click on the Servers tab. Enter your own NorthNet username in the POP User Name field. In our illustration, John Smith's username is "jsmith". You will find your username on the copy of your NorthNet application which we returned to you with this documentation.
Next, click on the Identity tab. Enter your full name in the Your Name: field and your email address in the Your Email: field. Your email address is your username and "@northnet.org" as in the example below. Enter everything in lowercase, with no spaces. That is all you need to fill in.
Click OK. At The Netscape main menu, again click on Options, then Save Options.
