The homepage is the place where, when you have to go there, you have a lot to take in. (With apologies to Frost.)

What I mean is that if you look at some websites and get overwhelmed by all you are expected to see at once. On the other hand, I am trying to achieve the opposite effect, have less on the first page, but still make it possible for folks to find whatever they are looking for.

One of the biggest challenges with any website is to figure out exactly why someone has arrived at your site. Maybe you came looking to see pictures of our beautiful son or maybe you tend towards the geekier side of life and are interested in computer stuff.
