The images above are meant to show what might happen when receiving images from a server which drops the connection before the complete file is sent.

I have simply truncated the image files, so reloading won't help. When dealing with server problems, it often does. The Opera 3.62 image context menu "Show image" or the Opera 6.06 "Reload image" will unconditionally load the image file again.
